About the Author
I am a Deputy Sheriff in Northeast Georgia. My main duty is to the patrol bureau of my department. I have also served on a number of special teams, including the Special Response Team, the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit as a bomb technician; one of 5 firearms instructors; and a member of the department's pistol competition team. I have been in Law Enforcement in one capacity or another for the past 14 years.
